Meet Dardenne Presbyterian Church ...

the Mission of DPC

The Greatest Commandment:

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

The Great Commission:

All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

the Vision of DPC

Connect - Teach – Empower: That’s what God asks of us!

  • Connect by hearing your story.
  • Teach by telling God’s story.
  • Empower by sending you to tell His story to others.

Connect - Teach – Empower: That’s what God asks of you!

Statement of Faith

We are a Reformed and evangelical church, committed to the inerrancy of the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16) and this speaks to our way of life.  Submission to the authority of God means living day by day in obedience to His Word, the Bible.

The Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms constitute a concise summary of all that we hold to be our doctrinal foundation.

Core Values at Dardenne

We believe we are saved only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ for God's glory.

We believe the Bible is God's word and testament of love and is the foundation of our lives and should be presented through Christian Education to all ages.

We believe we are servants of God presenting the Gospel so that all people may become followers of Jesus, and that our mission field extends beyond the church walls for all ages.

We believe in equipping all followers of Jesus to become fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ.

We believe the church is the body of Christ and serves God in His world.

We believe worshiping is praising God and living in obedience to God's word.

We believe through true worship, the Holy Spirit transforms lives.

We believe prayer is a continual opening of ourselves to God through which God communicates with us.

We believe all that we have is from God, and we increasingly give back to God our time, talent, and financial resources for God's work in the world.

We believe that the life God requires of us is a prayerful sharing in word and daily action the Good News of Jesus Christ, in our church family, in our community, and throughout the world.

We believe that family worship is essential for a strong church.
