Serving the people of God ...
"He has sent me to bind up
the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from
darkness..." - Isaiah 61:1 (NIV)
It's a privilege and joy to be tools the Lord uses
to bring peace, healing, and wholeness to people's lives. To further that
aim, we believe we have been led to minister in the following ways...
Hope and Healing Service
These informal services are held on the first Wednesday of every month
at 5:15 p.m. in the "Rock Church" which is the smaller
building on the far eastern edge of the facility. A brief time of song,
Scripture, and message is followed by prayer over those in attendance
who are in need of physical, mental, spiritual, or relational healing
and wholeness. For those so desiring, minstry by annointing with oil and
the laying on of hands is provided.
Intercessory Prayer Team
Our team of intercessors meets in the conference room at 7:00 p.m.
on Wednesdays to pray over those requests that have been received. Prayer
request forms are available in the pews. We plan to have an prayer request
form on-line soon. If you feel a call to minister in this way, please
drop by and join us.
Stephen Ministry
For those with an increased need for and interest in ministry support,
Dardenne has a trained corps of Stephen Minsters available who serve in
this special way. More information can be obtained by contacting the church
office.
Family Life Counseling
Family Life Counseling is staffed by licenced, professional counselors
and psychologists. Please contact us for information and fee structure
should you feel that this level of service could be of help to you.
Financial Planning Seminars
We often need a bit of help and advice to enable us to be good stewards
of the resources with which the Lord has entrusted us. In addition, many
individuals and families have found themselves in bondage to debt or are
otherwise having difficulties putting their financial affairs in order.
Trained volunteers offer regular programs to assist in these areas.
Divorce Care
Feelings of isolation, loneliness, and rejection often accompany a divorce.
If there are children, additional stress and responsibilities are present.
We seek to minister in to those with these special needs that they might
find wholeness through a warm, supportive group.
